Tips for choosing

Full to Full: Best value for most trips. Refuel at any local station before returning. A full tank of petrol costs approximately $90 at local prices.
Prepaid: Ideal if you have an early flight or tight return schedule. No need to search for a fuel station — just drop off the car. However, you won't get a refund for any fuel left in the tank.
Airport returns: If returning at an airport, note that the nearest fuel stations can be 2-5km away. Plan your last stop accordingly, or consider prepaid for convenience.

With Full-to-Full policy, the supplier will charge you for the missing fuel at a higher per-litre rate (typically 2-3x the pump price) plus a refuelling service fee. Always try to return the tank full.
Yes — with Full-to-Full, keep your receipt from the last fill-up as proof. Some suppliers require it to avoid a refuelling charge. Fill up at the closest station to the return location.
